NREMT EMT-Basic Exam Guide
The NREMT Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) exam is a computer adaptive test. The number of test items a candidate can expect on the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) exam will range from 70 to 120. Candidates are given a maximum of 2 hours to complete the exam.
The exam will cover the entire spectrum of EMS care including: Airway, Respiration & Ventilation; Cardiology & Resuscitation; Trauma; Medical & Obstetrics/Gynecology; and EMS Operations.
