AACN CCRN (Adult) Exam Guide
The CCRN credential is for nurses providing direct bedside care to acutely and/or critically ill adult, pediatric, or neonatal patients. AACN CCRN certification validates the practitioners who possess a distinct and clearly defined body of knowledge called acute/critical care nursing. The AACN CCRN exam is a multiple-choice test with 150 questions (125 scored and 25 unscored) that covers a variety of critical care nursing topics. Candidates have three hours to complete the exam.
