Elevate your project management career by mastering the PMP exam and demonstrating your
leadership.
The Project Management Professional (PMP)® exam is also offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI)® and is recognized globally as the gold standard in project management certifications. This exam is designed for experienced project managers who are responsible for all aspects of a project, including planning, execution, and completion. The PMP certification is highly valued and can significantly enhance career opportunities.
The PMP® exam focuses on advanced project management principles, testing candidates' ability to manage large-scale, complex projects across various industries. The exam covers three key domains: People, Process, and Business Environment. Candidates are tested on their ability to lead and motivate teams, define and manage project scope, create and manage schedules, and monitor project performance. Additionally, the exam evaluates risk management, quality assurance, and procurement strategies. Leadership and communication skills are essential for passing the PMP, as is a deep understanding of stakeholder management and organizational project management maturity models.
To be eligible, candidates must have either a four-year degree with three years of project management experience and 35 hours of project management education, or a secondary degree with five years of experience and 35 hours of education. The exam consists of 180 questions, including multiple-choice, multiple-response, matching, hotspot, and limited fill-in-the-blank questions. Candidates have 230 minutes to complete the exam. The certification is valid for three years and must be maintained through the accumulation of 60 PDUs.

I used the CAPM pocket prep app last year and the PMP pocket prep app this year. I passed both exams on my first attempt and scored 'above target' in the majority of the domains. This more than prepared me.
